Among the Department's activities, the following stand out:

• Commercial defense instruments: antidumping, safeguards and compensatory measures (subsidies);
• International treaties: analysis of matters related to international trade, including those referring to rules of origin, tariff preference system and system of quotas, among others;
• International negotiations: monitoring of international negotiations and client's support in their relations with Brazilian authorities;
