Graduated from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) School of Law in 2011, Rômulo Coutinho focuses on tax litigation practice. His major clients include retail, manufacturing and service companies. He regularly advises important Brazilian players such as Volkswagen, Nike, Goodyear, Avon e Liberty Seguros. Rômulo obtained an LL.M. in Tax Law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), postgraduate in Tax Law from Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários (IBET) and a MBA in Tax Management at FIPECAFI. He acts as assistant professor of Tax Law at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), is visiting professor of the post-graduated course of Centro Universitário de Araraquara (UNIARA), academic assistant of the Professor Paulo Ayres Barreto in the graduation classes of Universidade de São Paulo (USP) School of Law, and also, founder and monitor of the "Taxation, Principle of Certainty, Economic and Social Development" research group at Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He is author of many legal articles published in the most prestigious tax newspapers in the country. Member of the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT).
