Co-Head of the Ibero-American Desk, he has extensive experience advising companies investing through the region on a wide range of cross-border transactions, including debt and equity financing, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partners' agreements and other complex corporate matters. Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, Andoni's practice primarily focuses on Latin America, Spain and the Caribbean.
He has broad experience with privately held companies and individual investors as well as with the public sector in the acquisition, structuring and development of infrastructure projects (public procurement, concessions, PPPs, etc.) and complex construction agreements (EPCs, "turnkeys", etc.). He is also an expert in corporate governance, as well as in the defense of the shareholders' rights.
Mr. Hernández previously worked in Spain (Madrid) and the USA (New York), advising in a wide range of industries (energy, real estate, hotel&leisure, insurance, and financial sectors) and was, during six years, the managing partner in Brazil of one of the major Iberian Law Firms.
