LL.M in Competition Law from the King's College of London, University of London, in 2005, and PhD in Commercial Law with major in Competition Law from Universidade de São Paulo in 2015, Bruno Drago is one of the partners coordinating Demarest's Competition Law Department. Bruno has over 15 years of experience in the area. Bruno was an associate attorney at Howrey LLP, in Brussels, where he worked on competition issues before the European Commission, Member States and European Courts (2005/2006) and in Washington, D.C. (2007).
Bruno represents the interests of several clients in cases involving advice on mergers and acquisitions and associative agreements in international and local cartels as well as in highly complex discussions involving issues of abuse of dominant position. He has particular experience in the health and pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, oil and gas, agribusiness, electrical and electronic sectors, among others. He is also experienced in negotiating Leniency Agreements, Cease and Desist Agreements ("TCCs") and Agreements on Concentration Control ("ACCs") as well as in implementing and reviewing compliance programs. Bruno is also one of the coordinators of Demarest's Compliance Group.
