With more than 17 years of experience in competition matters, Daniel O. Andreoli is the current President of the Antitrust Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association – Section of São Paulo (CECORE/OAB-SP) since 2016, after serving as Vice-President in the period from 2013 to 2015. Daniel is Non-Governamental Advisor (NGA) of the Brazilian Competiton authority (CADE) in the annual conferences of the International Competition Network (ICN) since 2012, as well as in the annual meetings of ICN Cartel Workshop since 2014 and of the ICN Merger Workshop (2017). He is a member of the Board of the Brazilian Institute of Studies on Competition, Consumer Affairs and International Trade (IBRAC) since 2014. He is the Coordinator of the Antitrust Task Force of the Brazilian Association of Private & Venture Capital (ABVCAP).
Daniel Andreoli has a LL. M. degree in Corporate and Commercial Law, being approved with merits in Competition Law by the King's College of London, University of London (2000),
Daniel has significant experience in complex antitrust matters, representing several national and international companies in investigations and other proceedings brought by the Brazilian antitrust authority (CADE). His knowledge of cutting-edge issues in antitrust positions him to assist clients in the negotiations and drafting of leniency agreements, as well as settlements and divestiture orders. Daniel also works with companies in risk assessment and in planning and implementing antitrust compliance programs. Daniel also represents clients in unilateral conduct investigations of abuse of dominant position.
Daniel is frequently asked to speak on antitrust topics and published several articles on antitrust matters in several international and national publications.
He is member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and of the American Bar Association (ABA).
