Fabianna graduated in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 2010 and earned a postgraduate degree in Economic Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/SP) in 2014. She also coursed Constitution and Economics at the Brazilian Society of Public Law (SBDP) and concluded a specialization course in Mergers & Acquisitions at Saint Paul Business School.
Fabianna acted as foreign associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP, in Brussels, where she worked on competition issues before the European Commission, Member States and European Courts (2014/2015). She was also a visiting attorney at Marval O'Farrel & Mairal (2013), where she worked on competition issues before the Argentinean Competition Commission (Comisión Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia CNDC).
Fabianna is Vice-President of the Columbia League of Nations Association. She is also a board member of the Columbia Association of Antitrust and Economic Law; member of the Brazilian Institute of Studies on Competition, Consumption and International Trade (IBRAC); and member of the Commission of Competition and Economic Regulation Studies of the OAB/SP.
She worked in relevant cases to the Brazilian case law, advising both domestic and foreign clients on the structuring and negotiation of local and cross-border transactions, merger control filings and investigations of anticompetitive practices, including cartels and cases relating to abuse of dominance, furthermore to the negotiation of leniency agreements and settlements. Fabianna has also assisted foreign and domestic clients in internal compliance investigations, due diligences, development of compliance policies and in-house trainings.
