Fabiola heads the corporate criminal law department, with over 17 years’ experience. She is PhD in corporate criminal law and LL.M. in criminal law from PUC-SP and postgraduate-degree in corporate crimes from FGV, and also participated in a course on Money Laundering at the invitation of the US government and a project with Paris-Sud University professor Jérôme Fromageau on the legal sanctions of the Environmental Administrative Sanction Law.
She presented seminars on the criminal liability of managers to the boards of directors of Brazilian and multinational groups and lectures/spokes on topics including civil and criminal liability related to labour issues, the anticorruption law and compliance.
Among her professional activities, Fabiola is Vice-Chair of the Anticorruption and Compliance Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association - Pinheiros Section (OAB/SP); Member of the Anticorruption Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA); and Member of the Compliance Committee of the São Paulo's Lawyers Institute (Instituto dos Advogados de São Paulo - IASP).
