Graduated from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in 2011, and admitted in 2012 to the Brazilian Bar Association, State of São Paulo Section, Letícia Wanderley focuses on corporate finance and capital markets transactions. Amongst her regular clients are investment banks (e.g. Banco Itaú BBA, Banco do Brasil, Banco Santander, Banco Bradesco BBI, Banco Votorantim, Banco JP Morgan, among others), which she advises in the modeling and structuring of corporate finance and capital markets transactions in Brazil (e.g. public issuance of bonds or other securities, securitization transactions, incorporation of investment funds, direct foreign investment, among others). She also regularly advises foreign and domestic corporations with financing transactions, doing business and/or fund raising in Brazil (e.g. Raízen, Monsanto, Banco Ford, among others).
In 2009, Letícia attended the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London, coordinated by Georgetown University, as representative of the USP's Law School. She obtained her LLM in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law (NYU) in 2016, where she worked as a research assistant to Professor Stephen Choi in the NYU Pollack Center for Law & Business. At NYU, Leticia participated in the foundation of the Brazilian Legal Society – BLS and was a member of its executive board for the 2015-2016 term. For her work in BLS, she received an Outstanding Leadership Award from NYU.
After concluding the LLM, Leticia was awarded the NYU International Finance and Development (IFD) Fellowship and worked in Washington, DC at the International Finance Corporation – IFC, a member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries.
