Newton is currently pursuing his Doctor's degree from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He has earned his Master's degree in Procedural Law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in 2013. Attended the Cross-Border Dispute Resolution Program, held by Lex Mundi Institute (California/USA), in 2012. Graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 2005. Member of the IBDP (Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law). Member of CEAPRO (Center of Advanced Studies in Procedural Law). Member of the Committee of Legal Education and Relations with Law Schools of CESA (Center of Law Firms' Studies). Member of AASP (São Paulo Attorneys' Association). Amongst his regular clients he advises Amcor, Modal bank, Bridgestone, Credit bank, Cencosud, Fanuc, Goodyear, ISS, Natixis bank, Mitre Realty, Peugeot-Citroën, PSA bank, Pfizer, Reckitt, Shire and Unilever. Author of the book "A Multa (astreintes) na Tutela Específica", published by Quartier Latin (August/2015).   • 2018: Advising a pharmaceutical company in a claim brought by the State of São Paulo in connection with clinical trials, in an approximate amount of R$ 280 million.
  • 2018: Advising the Dutch State in a litigation related to the unlawful termination of a consortium to build a seaport in the northeast of Brazil, in an approximate amount of R$ 270 million.
  • 2018: Advising a multinational company of the food industry in an indemnification claim filed against Eletrobrás and Brazilian Federal Government, in an approximately amount of R$ 70 million.
