Graduated from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo School of Law in 2006. Paula's practice focuses on merger reviews, investigations, antitrust counseling and antitrust litigation. Paula has extensive experience, representing domestic and foreign clients before Brazil’s antitrust agencies in connection with merger filings and administrative proceedings related to investigations of anticompetitive conduct, as well as in judicial proceedings before the Brazilian courts involving antitrust matters. Paula is a specialist in Economic and Regulatory Law by the Fundação Getulio Vargas - GVlaw and has concluded her LL.M from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, along with a business certificate from the Wharton Business School. Paula also worked as an international lawyer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Washington-DC.

  • 2015: Represented Agro Amazônia before CADE in the sale of 65% of its share capital to Sumitomo.
