Specialized in regulatory matters in the electric power industry, both in the Free Market (ACL) and Regulated Market (ACR) and in the Short-Term Market (MCP). He has wide experience in Power Purchase Agreements and judicial litigation and arbitration involving Generators, Traders, Distributors, Transmitters, Free Consumers, the Regulatory Agency, and the Contract-Letting Agency.
Bachelor of Law from Universidade Santa Cecília (UNISANTA) in 2003 and Postgraduate in Civil Procedure and Constitutional Procedure from Universidade Católica de Santos (UNISANTOS), with Specialization in Electric Power Business Management (FGV- SP). Administrative Law (SBDP) and Leadership for Lawyers (GVLaw). He has been a Member of the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies (Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos do Direito da Energia — IBDE) since 2013 and permanent member of the Energy Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Chapter (Comissão de Energia da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil da Seccional de São Paulo — OAB/SP) since 2012.
Pedro was a visiting professor of several courses related to power industry at the Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos do Direito da Energia (IBDE), Escola Nacional da Magistratura, Preparatory Courses for arbitrators in the power industry in partnership with CAMARB (Business Arbitration Chamber), and he has given several lectures on the industry. He started his career in the electric power industry in 2002 at Elektro Distribuidora de Energia. Over the past eight years, he has worked at the Electric Power Trading Chamber (Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica — CCEE), where, for the past three years, he held the position of Regulatory Legal Manager.
