In 2016, earned a LL.M. degree in Tax Law from Insper - Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and then obtained, in 2017, a LL.M. degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, USA. . His major clients include Volkswagen do Brasil, Jaguar and Land Rover, LSG Sky Chefs, Unimetal Ltda., Reckitt Benckiser, Komatsu, Embraer, ZF do Brasil, Arch Química/Lonza, Panasonic, Samsung, Givaudan, Diageo do Brasil, Monsanto do Brasil Ltda, and Goodyear. He focuses his practice on tax consulting and litigation, in the federal, state and municipal levels, involving indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS), ITBI, IPVA and ITCMD.   • 2018: Advised an important multinational group on tax disputes on software taxation.
  • Defended the interests of an important multinational group of the automotive sector on several tax assessments.
  • Advised several important multinational companies on indirect tax aspects of merger and acquisition operations.
  • 2017: Defended the interests of a multinational company in several ICMS administrative processes, in the State of São Paulo, in which the effects of the tax war related to ICMS are discussed, in the cases of credits of this tax arising from the purchase of inputs from the Free Trade Zone of Manaus.
  • - Advised an important multinational group of the sugar, alcohol and fuel sector in the definition of the impacts resulting from the realization of ICMS tax credits levied on the acquisition of several products.
  • 2016: Advised a major national sugar and alcohol and fuel company on several transactions, including in regard to tax aspects resulting from a corporate restructuring; Defended the interests of a multinational beverage company in tax deficiency cases concerning stock differences.
  • 2015: Advised a major multinational group on the definition of ICMS/IPI tax impacts resulting from the manufacturing of electric vehicles and buses; Assisted a major multinational group in regard to tax aspects resulting from the manufacturing of vehicles in Brazil and the enjoyment of state tax benefits as well as in the defense of the company's interests in tax deficiency cases involving imports of vehicles to order.
  • 2014: Assisted a multinational tobacco company in the definition of internal procedures required to meet the IPI tax law; Defended the interests of an importer seeking to be dismissed from paying the IPI tax on the resale of imported goods; Assisted a national plastic association by conducting studies intended to identify national tax incentives applicable to the chain of production of consumption goods that utilize recyclable materials in their composition, aiming at filing a national claim with the treasury authorities.
