Last Saturday, the first volunteering activity of the program Demarest ao Redor (Demarest all around) took place. Demarest staff took part in a Cultural Exhibition at the Professor Victor Oliva State School, with loads of fun activities for the kids. The Cultural Exhibition is an annual event in which the children present the projects they have worked on during the school year to their parents.
The firm was involved in three large activities: Art Workshop, Workshop of Musical Instruments made from scrap and the Legal Services Walk-in, helping the community with their legal issues. In total, 33 volunteers from the firm took part in the activity, bringing a lot of art and fun to the little ones.
This was the first Demarest ao Redor volunteering activity, and the aim is for it to expand to cover other cities in coming years.
