Public Consultation about Brazil's Foreign Trade Regulatory Agenda 2018/2019
In order to promote transparency, identify and remedy regulatory problems that impact foreign trade in Brazil, the Brazilian Chamber of Foreign Trade (CAMEX) started today, on November 7, a public consultation for interested parties to submit their views on the 1st Foreign Trade Regulatory Agenda for the biennium 2018-2019.
At this point, CAMEX aims to collect the society's opinions on current regulatory practices and actions already proposed in the international trade front. It is possible to submit any improvement, revision, amendment, update or revocation of the proposals, as well as to suggest new actions.
Interested parties may fill in forms provided by CAMEX on eight topics, namely:
The public consultation is an opportunity for companies and associations to point out to the government potential regulatory barriers and challenges faced in foreign trade operations. In addition, it allows a direct channel for the private sector to propose specific changes and solutions on the topics listed above.
Proposals must be submitted until January 8, 2018. Participant data will not be publicly disclosed.
