Airports pitch will take place on March 2017

ANAC has approved this Wednesday (30) the bidding documents for the concession of the airports of Porto Alegre (RS), Salvador (BA), Florianópolis (SC) and Fortaleza (CE). The documents were published today (12/01) on ANAC's website.

In this new round of concessions, it is allowed that the same economic group participates and wins the pitch for more than one airport, as long as the airports are not in the same region. In any case, it is required that the shareholding of the airport operator is at least 15% - it is allowed to add up the participation of up to two operators. The airline companies may hold a share of up to 2%.

The main requirements for each airport are:

 

1. Airport of Salvador - Luis Eduardo Magalhães

- minimum investment: BRL 2,35 billion

- grant value: BRL 1,240 billion

- concession term: 30 years, extendable for another 5

- operator requirements: 5 years of experience and processing 9 million passengers per year.

 

2. Airport of Fortaleza - Pinto Martins

- minimum investment: BRL 1,401 billion

- grant value: BRL 1,440 billion

- concession term: 30 years, extendable for another 5

- operator requirements: 5 years of experience and processing 7 million passengers per year.

 

3. Airport of Porto Alegre - Salgado Filho

- minimum investment: BRL 1,902 billion

- grant value: BRL 123 million

- concession term: 25 years, extendable for another 5

- operator requirements: 5 years of experience and processing 9 million passengers per year.

 

4. Airport of Florianópolis - Hercílio Luz

- minimum investment: BRL 960,7 million

- grant value: BRL 211 million

- concession term: 30 years, extendable for another 5

- operator requirements: 5 years of experience and processing 4 million passengers per year.
