For 54% of Latin American businesspeople, corruption is a significant obstacle to doing business. This is the highest index since 2008, when U.S. firm Miller & Chevalier started its series of four-year surveys on the subject. The 2020 Latin America Corruption Survey, produced in partnership with 14 firms in the region, also brings a range of other relevant data collected from responses of more than one thousand businesspeople, forming a true map of the perception of the risk of corruption, of knowledge about anti-corruption laws and compliance program practices in Latin America. We are very proud to be the exclusive Brazilian firm involved in this project.
