ANP publishes Public Hearing for reviewing ANP Resolutions 757/2018 (data acquisition, processing, preparation of studies, among other matters) and 19/2013 (activities of local content certification)

The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels – ANP (“ANP”) published on January 24, 2022, the Notices of Public Consultations and Public Hearing No. 2/2022 and No. 3/2022, to obtain suggestions and additional information on the proposed normative acts that substitute ANP Resolutions No. 757/2018 and amend ANP Resolution No. 19/2013.

ANP Resolution No. 757/2018, subject to public consultation No. 2/2022, regulates the activities of data acquisition and processing, preparation of studies and access to technical data on exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas in Brazilian sedimentary basins.

ANP Resolution No. 19/2013, subject to public consultation No. 3/2022, establishes the criteria and procedures for carrying out Local Content Certification activities.

Both public consultations will be held for a period of 45 days, counted from the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette, running from January 25, 2022, to March 10, 2022. Contributions can be forwarded to the ANP through the electronic form available on the agency’s website.
