Partner of Demarest’s Mergers and Acquisitions area in the Campinas office, Edimara Iansen Wieczorek holds a postgraduate degree in Tax and Corporate Law as well as Civil Procedural Law, both from PUC-PR. She specializes in Corporate Law and focuses her practice in companies in the plastics and mechanics, cardboard packaging and tool manufacturing sectors, as well as in agribusiness companies. Edimara is president of the Strategic Committee of Women Executives, organized by the Brazil-US Chamber of Commerce, in the city of Campinas, and a member of the Tax Committee of the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

— Advised Laticrete on due diligence and transaction for the acquisition of 51% of the shares of Solepoxy Indústria e Comércio de Resina Ltda. by Alexis Joseph Steverlynck Fonteyne and Mariela Klann Fonteyne, for a total of USD 2.85 million.
— Advised Novel Holdings – Eireli in a management buy-out operation that involved the purchase of 100% of the operations of Myers do Brasil, Plástico Novel Nordeste and Plástico Novel Paraná, resulting in tax gains for Myers Industries in the USA of approximately USD 35 million.
— Advised Chinese USI Group on a Joint Venture Agreement with Qualcomm Global Trading Pte. Ltd. To establish a corporation for the development, manufacture and supply of certain products for the Brazilian semiconductor/wireless sector, involving an estimated investment of USD 200 million.
