SUSEP launches Open Insurance: Phase 1 implementation begins today, 15 December 2021.

From today until June 30, 2022, open data (public data on service channels and insurance products, open supplementary pension plans and capitalization available for sale) will be part of the Portal <https://opinbrasil.com.br>. In this portal,  companies participating in Open Insurance will be able to register, manage access and share all information, as published by SUSEP at this link.

During the implementation of Phase 1, SUSEP stipulated March 04, 2022 as the deadline for companies to carry out the compliance tests and API registrations that will allow personal insurance data to be shared, which will occur by  September 01, 2022.

This is an important milestone for the insurance market, which from now on will be able to benefit from open data to optimize its processes and format new products and services.

The regulation on the matter was published by Demarest on the following links: CNSP Resolution Nº 415/2021 and SUSEP Circular Nº 635/2021 and CNSP Resolution Nº 429/2021.
