Nicole advises companies operating in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetics, hygiene, sanitation, food, agricultural inputs, and beverage markets. She concentrates her practice in matters involving clinical research, imports, marketing, and advertising of products regulated by ANVISA and MAPA, digital health, innovation and health technologies, protection of sensitive health data, biotechnology, and biodiversity, among others. Nicole has a solid background in contract law, assisting in the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, and supports M&A transactions and corporate structuring for companies in the health and agriculture sectors, including startups.   • Advised multinational companies in the pharmaceutical innovation sector on structuring and negotiating Productive Development Partnerships and collaboration agreements with public laboratories, seeking to transfer manufacturing technology for strategic products to the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS).
  • Advised, on-site and on a secondment basis, on the day-to-day and strategic operations of the legal department of a multinational pharmaceutical company, supporting the contracts and business development areas.
  • Advised companies in the pharmaceutical sector on defining strategies for accessing and incorporating innovative pharmaceutical products, in line with recent precedents set by the higher courts on the subject (Supreme Court and Superior Court of Justice rulings).
