Ministry of Environment Opens Public Consultation on Reverse Logistics of Aluminum Cans

Brazil’s Ministry of the Environment, by means of Ordinance No. 310, has opened a public consultation process on a proposal for a Commitment Term to improve the aluminum beverage cans reverse logistics system.

The object of the Term is the implementation and operation of a reverse logistics system called “Each Can Counts”, which aims at coordinating with the respective agents for the implementation of necessary actions and structure to guarantee the improvement of the return flow of aluminum beverage cans to their production cycle.

Contributions and suggestions should be sent via an electronic form available on the Ministry of the Environment’s website until September 18, 2020.
