Luciana Cossermelli Tornovsky

Partner of Demarest’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice area, Luciana holds a master’s degree (LL.M) from the Harvard Law School (USA) and a post-graduate degree from the International Tax Program (ITP) at Harvard University. She acted as a foreign associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Luciana is the head of Demarest’s Corporate Social Responsibility area, which encompasses the Social Responsibility, Diversity & Inclusion and Pro Bono groups. She is ranked in Chambers Global, Chambers Latin America, The Legal 500, Análise Advocacia 500, LACCA, Leaders League, IFLR, among others. Luciana is a member of the Board of the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB SP), Senior Vice Chair of the Closely Held and Growing Business Enterprise Committee at the International Bar Association (IBA), Vice President of the Harvard Law School Association of Brazil, Member of the Executive Committee of the Harvard Law School Association, Co-Chair in Brazil of the Harvard Women Alliance, Member of the Board of the Center for Studies of Law Firms (CESA), Member of the “Lawyers Council for Civil and Economic Rights in the Americas”, an initiative of the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, in association with the New York City Bar, and Member of the Board of the Institute for the Development of Social Investment (IDIS).
