Partner in Demarest's Mergers and Acquisitions practice area, Beatriz Seixas holds a master's degree in Corporate and Financial Law from the London School of Economics, a specialist degree in Business Administration from FGV and a bachelor's degree in Law from USP. She concentrates her practice in conducting and coordinating several mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, debt restructurings and IPO transactions. Beatriz served as a foreign lawyer at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, in New York (USA) and is recognized by the major legal publications Chambers Brazil, Latin Lawyer 250 and Análise Advocacia 500.

  • Advised Saint-Gobain, the world leader in solutions for lightweight and sustainable construction, on a joint venture with ArcelorMittal, the world leader in steel, for the development of Parceiro da Construção, an online platform that offers training courses that provide free certificates to professionals in the field.
  • Advised the SoftBank Group and other co-investors on a series A investment in Medway, a medical education start-up. Amount involved: USD 15.5 million.
  • Advised the SoftBank Group and other co-investors on a series A investment in Digibee, a startup specializing in systems integration to connect large companies to the digital world. Amount involved: USD 25 million.
  • Advised the SoftBank Group, Volpe Capital, Igah Ventures and other co-investors on a series A investment in CRM&Bonus, one of the largest giftback and customer loyalty systems. Amount involved: BRL 135 million.
