  • Advised Mercon Coffee on the Chapter 11 process of the Mercon Group in Brazil. This is one of the first foreign insolvency proceedings filed in Brazil.
  • Advised the Verzatec Group on the out-of-court reorganization of Unigel Group within the context of the acquisition of a significant asset owned by the Debtors located in Mexico.
  • Advised TAM Linhas Aéreas and LATAM Airlines Group, as Special Brazilian Counsel for Chapter 11 filed by the LATAM group in New York.
  • Advised Czarnikow on financing Clealco Açúcar e Álcool, as investors for the issuance of debentures convertible into shares to be issued by Clealco, in the amount of approximately BRL 261 million ("DIP Finance").
  • Advised Caixa Econômica Federal (the Brazilian Federal Savings Bank) on the debt restructuring of Arena Itaquera and SPV, which controls Arena Itaquera, the stadium built for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
  • Advised American Towers on the acquisition of shares of UPI Torres from Oi S.A., with payment in credits held by the American Towers group in Oi's court-supervised reorganization.
