Partner in Demarest’s Corporate Investigations practice area, with emphasis on Competition matters, Marco Fonseca holds a master’s degree in Law from the Universidade de Brasília (UnB), a postgraduate degree in Public Law and Regulation from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a bachelor’s degree in Law from Centro Universitário de Brasília (UniCEUB). Marco has more than 15 years of experience in Antitrust Law. He represents the interests of several clients mainly in cases of anticompetitive conduct, whether on behalf of the claimant or the defendant. Marco also concentrates his practice on the submission of acts of economic concentration to the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (“CADE”), in addition to advising on competitive issues. - Advised H. Hemo before CADE on the submission of the acquisition of H. Hemo and Vita, which are hemotherapy companies, by BTG Pactual.
