Partner of Demarest's Labor Consulting area, Renato Canizares holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from FGV and a specialization in Labor Law and Social Security from PUC-SP. He actively advises on individual and collective labor issues, as well as on matters related to immigration, especially those involving foreign work in Brazil and the admission of Brazilian employees abroad. Among his main clients are local and multinational companies in the telecommunications, automotive, media and services sectors.   • Advised a company in the automobile industry on negotiations with labor authorities regarding the revision and renovation of its industrial park, in light of the regulations on machinery and equipment (NR-12).
  • Advised a company in the retail sector on establishing its activities in Brazil and defining its internal labor routines in the light of the labor legislation in force.
  • Advised several companies in the technology and services sectors on rebadging procedures throughout the country.
  • Advised an international hotel group on the implementation of its operations in the country, as well as on the regularization of existing contracts with different service providers.
  • Advised one of the world's largest insurance brokers on the expansion of its activities in Brazil, with the acquisition of other brokers and a review of all labor aspects aimed at harmonizing the remuneration and benefits packages of the employees involved.
