Partner in the Dispute Resolution areas of Demarest, Sílvio de Salvo Venosa is a graduate of USP and PUC-SP and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from USP. He was a judge for the State of São Paulo for 25 years. He was also a professor at the University of Ribeirão Preto (UNAERP), FMU, São Bernardo do Campo School of Law, Integrated Faculties of Itapetininga and UNIP. Author of several books on Law: “Civil Law Collection”, ” Tenancy Law, annotated”, “Introduction to the Study of Law: First Lines” “Civil Code, with commentary, v. XII”, “Civil Code, annotated”, “Comments on the Brazilian Civil Code, v. XVI” and “Commercial Code and Business Law”, as well as organizer of “The New Civil Code”.
